Welcome!

Hi! My name is Vincent Ignacio. Thank you very much for dropping-by.

Drum roll please... Ladies and gentlemen, after two days and two nights of programming work, I bring you our new Site Translation Engine! I want to inform everyone that our site can now be translated into 12 six languages from the previous five. And also, gone are the days when we frequently encounter errors when we translate a page. I would like to thank you all for your patience.

edit: I've reduced the translated languages to six. (I'm going over my host's storage space limit. Sorry!) It can still translate to the excluded languages but I will be removing the links to it to prevent further cacheing of pages.

Hi! Just in case I forget, I want to greet you all an Advanced Happy Halloween! Happy Trick or Treating to you all! So what will your kids be this year? My three-year-old daughter is all ready with her Supergirl costume. But her mom will still have to buy her a new pair of red boots to go with the costume, thou.

Have Fun!

Hi readers! I recently added a new category of articles dealing with Sexuality. Nope, sorry to disappoint you but no erotic articles there. But you can find a lot of helpful tips on how to further improve your sexual life. The Latest Articles page only displays the 9 most recent, but you can still see the older ones when you go to our Article Archive page and scroll down to the appropriate folder.

God Bless!

This site is an accepted member of various WebRings. Although many webmasters believe that webrings are "old school", I think it can still deliver traffic, especially for sites like mine which covers many different topics. I will be joining more rings in the days to come. I've also added a page where I list the current Webring Memberships that this site holds.

According to an article I found in Wikipedia regarding the error we often encounter when we translate our site: "The message may be thrown up by conventional searches or links; the suggestion that the user's computer may be infected is often incorrect. The screen was first reported in 2005 and was a response to the heavy use of Google by Search Engine Optimisation companies to check on ranks of sites they were optimising. The message may also be triggered by high volumes of different searches from a single IP address. The block is removed after a day."

And I thought our problems with the Site Translator was finally over. Well, since we rely on Google Translate for our site translation needs, they display this error sometimes: "We're sorry ...but your query looks similar to automated requests from a computer virus or spyware application. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now."

I apologize if you happen to encounter it too. Thats the downside of relying on a third party to do something for you. Anyway, the error doesn't last forever. In my own experience, it goes away after a few hours so you can try translating it again if you wish.

We're working on translating the content of this site into five more languages! We are using Google's translation tool to accomplish this. It basically translates our whole site. Google can translate more languages but they're currently in betas, so maybe we will add them in the future when the beta is finally removed. When you see your country's little flag in our pages, you can now read all our content in your own native language. Just click on the flag to translate our site. I just want to warn you thou that it's not finished yet. We are still working on fixing some bugs in the translated pages so please bear with us.

Added more categories today. I also noticed that the side menu does not look okay when this site is viewed with the FireFox browser. It's not a major problem but it is an eyesore. So if any of you don't want to encounter the problem that I'm talking about, I recommend you use Internet Explorer when you visit this site. I'm really very sorry for this. I did try to remedy the problem but I can't.

Now, I will be concentrating my efforts on SEO or Search Engine Optimization for this site. Its pages are already indexed but most of them are still supplemental. The reason for this is most of it's incoming links are just pointing to this page. It still lacks the inbound links to it's internal pages. So that is what I will be working on in the future. Hopefully, this site will be getting more search engine traffic.

I've finally finished changing the look of this site! I hope you'll like it. And I still have a ton of articles to add in the days ahead. My dream is to turn this site into a big one, with lots and lots of articles to read on almost any kind of subject you can think about. Don't forget to bookmark this site so you can come back again when you want a good read.

This site is getting a new look! As you can see here in the homepage, I've started implementing it already. I know its a lot of work changing all the pages but I've received some negative feedback about the old color combination from other webmasters. Might as well do something about it and give this site a more professional look. After all, my aim is to give you, my visitors a positive user experience.

Just added a whole new batch of articles in different categories for your reading pleasure. You can check them out now in our menu on the left. Updating this website is a breeze so it's actually fun to do. I hope you will also have fun reading thru all the pages. I will have more new categories in the days ahead. Thanks for dropping-by and please come back soon!

First of all, my name is Vincent Ignacio and I live in the Philippines. Designing and developing websites is my hobby. I've already made a couple of sites before to practice my skills. Thou most of them are just static html pages, they are full of useful information, so they are still getting visitors from the search engines even if I haven't updated them for quite some time now.

Updating static html pages takes a lot of work, especially if there are plenty of pages involved. For example, if your site has 50 pages and you will add 5 more and you want their links to appear in the site's navigation menu. You have to change all the 50 pages and upload them again to your server.

I said to myself, there has to be an easier way. And there is! I found out that it is easier to change a lot of things in a website when you use PHP instead of plain HTML. So I began reading everything about it and asked help from webmaster forums. Then wala... this website is born... the fruit of my efforts. I know it isn't much when compared to other fully developed sites. But I placed a lot of effort into this and it's all that matters. "Win or lose, as long as you gave it your best, is what counts most."

If you knew me back in 2004, I absolutely have no clue about making websites... and a few more years back... about surfing the internet! Yeah, I was a late bloomer in the internet world. But whatever your age is, when you are constantly trying to learn new things and reading everything you can get your hands into, you are always YOUNG.

Finally, I'd like to thank our article source, ArticleSender.com, the guys from Digitalpoint for our site translation, and our reliable host, FreeHostia.com, for without them, all this will never be possible. You can send your emails to and instant messages to vbignacio.
